It was just an accident but next time look at the company number that is provided with that dang vending machine and complain. If that machine was located at school or the hospital, I guess you can go to the snack store and complain and they might even give you your refund. Usually vending machine companies leave replacement money so that they can be given to people who lost their money in the vending machines.
My community college has a lot of vending machines around the whole entire school. The vending machine usually steals my money on several occasions and other people as well. We can however retrieve our money by simply going to the student/bookstore. All we have to do is fill out the form by putting over name, where the machine was located in the school such as by the gym, cafeteria,etc and the amount that was lost.

grab ur snack out of the machine and run haha. just kiddin…if u feel guilty then grab ur snack out the machine and call the # on the machine to tell them the glass is shattered. solves the guilty issue and hunger issue. i wouldn’t tell them u kicked it tho.

Now you’re hungry? If it was broken, why didn’t you grab some snacks? If you’re gonna make up something at least tell it so it makes sense.

If you did shatter the glass, my best advice is to run. Don’t take anything from the machine just run. You could get in serious trouble.
