The Perfect Pre Work Out Snack?

I walk on the treadmill, do a variety of weigh machines, then I go on the elliptical machine for about 10 to 15 minutes (I must admit I don’t really push it real hard on that) and the I swim for 20 minutes. My sugars go up and down and I would like to steady them out while I work out. What would be the perfect snack with some carbs, protein and few calories?

How about half a Pb sandwich and a glass of milk ?
Or you can try some trail mix.The peanuts don’t have many carbs but the raisins do.

Many types of nuts are very good for this purpose – they pack a lot of calories in a small volume (so you don’t get a full feeling) and they provide carbs, proteins, and fats and oils that reduce blood pressure. I like eating a mixture of almonds and raisins – just a couple of handfuls.
