How Come Coke/snack Machines Won’t Take Pennies?

I have 50 pennies and can’t frickin use them!

    The vending companies work on a model of efficiency, and pennies are inefficient. They have the least value, and would required the most time for vending technicians to collect, sort, etc. It’s easier for them to just not accept pennies. They don’t lose much business doing so, besides your business. :)

    They are just not practical for storing in vending machines. And, think about how long would it take you to plug in all those pennies.

    the coin container inside the machines are small and wouldn’t be capable of holding a large amount of coins.

    Yeah it sucks doesnt it. You cant use pennies for much of anything but exact change at a register.

    I would go to the Coinstar machine. They take like 7 cents on every dollar, but it beats rolling pennies!
